Eureka Calhoun is a Dallas, TX based fashion stylist, style expert and creative consultant. Eureka has quickly built a reputation for being more than just a stylist. Known for her creativity, Eureka’s versatility in the fashion industry yields a high-profile clientele, ranging from editorial and advertising to clients that have a thriving public platform. Her experience as a stylist has contributed to the production for the 1st Annual Oklahoma City Fashion Week sponsored by Mercedes Benz and has been featured on KFOR and KSBI’s fashion and style segments.

Her experience in the fashion world started with working backstage production for the 1st Annual Oklahoma City Fashion Week sponsored by Mercedes Benz.  After her own personal inner inner work she decided she wanted to expand my knowledge and explore the other areas as a wardrobe stylist and started working with local agency models, photographers, entrepreneurs, and creatives. And from there after building her portfolio for 2 years, she officially launched Velvet Lope Styling.  

As a former educator expanding her passion into becoming the owner and operator of Velvet Lope Styling, a wardrobe styling and image consulting company has allowed her to obtain a plethora of knowledge which enables her to bring professionalism, creativity, and passion to any situation. Inspired by her travels to Tokyo, Barcelona and her native state of Alabama, Eureka blends her love of fashion with international design to create intentional and memorable moments. Her work can be found in various domestic and international editorials such as Vulkan, Lucy,  and Ellements magazine. 

Eureka is very active and supportive in a variety of civic and cultural organizations. Outside of her professional interests and she is an advocate for women who believe in holistic healing of the body and mind. The foundation of her work is grounded in inspiring someone to be intentional with their personal style that will allow them to embody a new mindset to pursue a fuller sense of life.
